Editorial Policy
How UAP Logbook handles UAP claims, source material, interpretation, corrections, and AI assistance.
Editorial approach
UAP Logbook covers public UAP claims, videos, official releases, testimony, documents, and the media narratives around them.
The site does not treat attention as evidence. Claims, source material, interpretation, and counterarguments should be kept visibly separate.
Standards
- Prefer primary sources, official records, original videos, transcripts, filings, and direct statements when available.
- Identify when a report is based on an interview, repost, documentary clip, secondary article, or social media claim.
- Do not present unresolved footage as proof of a specific explanation without supporting data.
- Separate what is visible from what is inferred.
- Include relevant skeptical alternatives when they are credible and specific.
AI assistance
AI tools may be used for drafting, transcription support, structure, image generation, and technical site work. Editorial judgment, source selection, claims, corrections, and publication decisions remain with the editor.
Generated images are used as editorial illustrations, not as evidence.
Conflicts and sponsorship
UAP Logbook currently has no sponsors and does not publish paid editorial coverage. If that changes, paid or sponsored material will be clearly labeled.
